The Register says a new PlayStation Portable, will be equipped with a wireless network system. It’s scheduled to debut in the fourth quarter of 2004, and will compete with Nintendo’s dominant Game Boy Advance handheld console.
The $200 portable with a 4.5″ screen should not be confused with the PSX Console with built-in PVR capability. That console is scheduled for release in the United States in about 6 months.
