Verizon Wireless and AirLink Communications, a leading provider of wireless and mobile data systems, today announced three data products for migration of cellular data from (analog) CDPD to the digital (1XRTT) system.
AirLink’s Raven CDMA, Redwing CDMA and Pinpoint CDMA each received Verizon Wireless certification and will expand the company’s telemetry offerings.
- Raven CDMA is an intelligent wireless data platform designed for real-time, two-way communications with remote assets. This telemetry solution enables virtually any type of remote device to connect to Verizon Wireless’ 1xRTT high-speed Express Network. Utilities, transportation, financial and environmental uses are targeted.
- Redwing CDMA is designed for communicating data and information back to a host location. Redwing is an affordable replacement for existing landline, private radio, CDPD and circuit switched wireless installations.
- PinPoint CDMA is a rugged wireless modem with a GPS receiver, which provides a cost effective platform for mobile applications. Ideal for fleet management, PinPoint has been integrated with several third-party software packages, including public safety, ambulance, field service and transit arrival systems.
AirLink’s core products are the AirLink Embedded Operating System (ALEOS), end-user software for data acquisition and management, and a family of wireless communications platforms.
