Net2Phone and Navini will jointly deliver Net2Phone s broadband telephony services over Navini s wireless broadband network, extending the flexibility and mobility of VoIP calling.

Net2Phone has adapted its residential broadband telephony solution called VoiceLine to enable communications over wireless IP networks. VoiceLine provides inbound and outbound calling with applications such as phone number selection, call waiting, caller ID and voice mail. Calls are routed over Navini s Wireless Metropolitan Area Network (WMAN) solution to Net2Phone s SIP-based platform, which performs call routing and management, supplies CLASS 5 features, provides billing and provisioning integration and distributes the infrastructure required for interconnecting onto and off of the Public Switched Telephone Network.

Customers can place and receive local, long distance and international phone calls miles from the Navini Ripwave Base Station while stationary or portable throughout Navini s wireless metropolitan area broadband network.

Wireless Metropolitan Area Networks are clearly the next frontier for Net2Phone, as we extend our reach beyond the wired world, said Bryan Wiener, President of Net2Phone Global Services.

Net2Phone provides PacketCable, SIP and wireless VoIP solutions around the world. Navini Networks Headquartered in Richardson, Texas, delivers multi-megabit speeds to customers in more than 25 countries worldwide. The Navini solution is nomadic, easy to install and does not require a line-of-sight. Perhaps the largest regional wireless network in the United States is Navini’s vast network in South Texas, which covers about 5,000 square miles. Clients get “wireless DSL” using indoor USB clients and 500kbps-1Mbps speed. No truck roll.
