Linksys today announced a dual-band wireless adapter for connecting game consoles to wireless networks.
The WGA54AG Wireless A/G Game Adapter supports connection to 802.11a, b and g wireless LANs for devices with Ethernet ports. Linksys said the product will work with PlayStation2, Xbox, and GameCube gaming consoles and can also be used to wirelessly connect a Windows Media Center Extender-enabled Xbox to a Windows Media Center PC. It’s completely driver-free, so it works on most any platform.
The WGA54AG is available now at an estimated street price of $129.
