Siemens AG will launch a bevy of WiMax trials in Italy, reports Unstrung [how do they get these scoops].

The German incumbent use pre-WiMax in the 3.5GHz band. Trials will begin in July in North Italy, and will later spread South to the islands of Sicily and Sardinia. The cities of Arezzo, Milan, Parma, and Rome are also targeted for deployment.
