The ZyXEL AG-225H Wi-Fi finder, explains Tim Higgins, is the first Wi-Fi finder that can locate in-range 802.11a and 802.11b/g access points.
It provides SSID, security, and signal strength information in a device about the size of a package of gum.
The AG-225H is also the first dual-band hotspot finder that also functions as a USB 2.0 client adapter and soft access point.
It will list for $99 when it goes on sale in September.
