Tim Higgins says that Buffalo Technology today added a smart wireless router to its AirStation line.
The Buffalo AirStation 125 Cable/DSL Smart Router (WHR-G54S) can double as an access point by flipping a hardware switch. An Automatic Router Configuration function simplifies installation by automatically configuring the router.
A built-in amplifier improves performance on the Buffalo AirStation G54 High Power Wireless Cable/DSL Smart Router. The WHR-HP-G54 is said to extend the range of standard 802.11g client devices by up to 70% and improves overall performance by up to 50%.
