Sprint announced a full-scale launch of its EV-DO wireless network, including the first over-the-air music download store. Minneapolis Chooses Two

NVIDIA announced today they are working with Hybrid Graphics to deliver native-accelerated 3D API for mobile phones. Hybrid’s optimized OpenGL ES drivers for the NVIDIA GoForce family of graphics processing units (GPUs) is said to provide developers with an optimized 3D graphics platform. PersonalTelco Hosts Local Music

Last night at Portland’s PersonalTelco Meeting, Tom Higgins (no relation to Tim Higgins), demonstrated the open source Our Tunes project. It puts podcasts and music on PTP hotspots.
