BellSouth Expands Athens Wireless

BellSouth said Thursday it is expanding its WiMAX service in Athens, Georgia.
A third radio tower has been installed in Athens, which will expand the availability of the service. Bell South’s Wireless Broadband Service currently uses Navini equipment but plans to transition to Mobile WiMax when that standard is available.
