Italy Plans WiMax
Posted by Sam Churchill on February 13th, 2006Samsung Electronics has agreed to cooperate with Italy’s top telecommunications service carrier, Telecom Italia, to jointly launch a mobile WiMAX service in Italy in 2007. Under the agreement, Samsung will provide Telecom Italia with relevant technologies and know-how for the WiBro high-speed Internet broadband service, Samsung said in a report.
