GlobalComm 2006, which replaces SuperComm as the Telecommunications Industry Association’s (TIA’s) annual telecom supershow, runs June 4-8 at Chicago’s McCormick Place. Some 20,000 participants and more than 450 exhibitors are expected to fill some 200,000 square feet.
More than a dozen conference sessions, Speakers, Keynotes and Press Releases should keep the procedings lively.
WiMAX Strategies will showcase the biggest opportunities and most pressing issues associated with WiMAX over two days with a variety of speakers. Pioneers and innovators as well as the skeptics and naysayers, will be featured.
A significant portion of the GlobalComm 2006 show floor will be dedicated to interoperability as industry organizations seek to lower cost and ensure compatibility between competing products. Attendees can learn about interoperability efforts at the Interoperability in Action exhibit, which will include the Metro Ethernet Forum, Multiservice Forum, IMS Forum, Multimedia over Coax Alliance, UNH-IOL, WiMAX Forum and TeleManagement Forum.
