DailyWireless opened in March 2002 and has been running phpnuke the whole time. Until today. In October 2006, the software that runs dailywireless is now wordpress. This gives dailywireless an updated theme and a prettier URL scheme.

The theme is called Wuhan and its designed by Meng Gao, released under the GPL open source licence.
All the content has been migrated from phpnuke to wordpress, and the old phpnuke URLs will redirect to the new wordpress style URLs. The one area that manual change is necessary is RSS readers. See the link at the bottom of the page for the new RSS URL.

This is just the beginning as interesting wordpress plugins become adopted by dailywireless.

These icons link to social bookmarking sites where readers can share and discover new web pages.

Beautiful! Glad to see the infrastructure and UI/useability have caught up to the high quality of content. I’m a WiFi vendor exec and read / recommend your blog daily.
