The wireless industry is growing and so is DailyWireless. We’d like to provide additional coverage with podcasting and other features. But that requires more revenue than AdSense can provide. We’ve received several requests from people who want to buy advertising on DailyWireless.

We’ve finally gotten around to it.

Banner advertising on DailyWireless is based on industry standard CPM (cost per thousand), running from $6-$12 (based on banner size). We receive between 85K to 125K page views/month and offer three different flat-rate packages for advertisers based on 100K pageviews/month:

1. Large horizontal banner - $12 CPM. We offer a maximum of two full size horizontal banners (550×100 pixels, 50K max). One 200×360 pixel “skyscrapper” vertical banner slot is also available. A significant discount ($8 CPM) is offered for three months exposure.
2. A 220 x 110 pixel ad on the right - $6 CPM. A $4 CPM is offered for three months. A maximum of three slots is available on the right column.
3. A 160 x 80 Pixel ad (plus two lines of text), on a dedicated “Sponsors” page - $3 CPM. The Sponsors page is a dedicated page, easily accessible and available under the masthead. It provides both Commercial and Non-Profit opportunities with text descriptors and linking.(A) The Commercial section offers a $3 CPM with $2 CPM for 3 months or more. (B) The Non-profit section provides $1 CPM (flat fee). In some cases a free promotional link may be provided with cross linking.

In summary:

1. Large banners (550×100 pixels or 200×360 pixels) cost $1200/month ($800/mo with 3 month run.

2. A 220 x 110 pixel ad on the right column costs $600/month ($400/mo, with 3 month run).

3. The Commercial Sponsors Page costs $300/month ($200/mo with 3 month run).
