OQO, “the world’s smallest fully-functional PC”, says their tiny Model 02 now offers integrated EV-DO for Verizon BroadbandAccess service.
The new Model 2 can be ordered with Windows Vista pre-installed and weighs just 1 pound. It features 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 2.0, an ergonomic backlit keyboard and a “TouchScroller”.
A full docking station supports dual external displays at up to 1920 x 1200 pixels through digital (HDMI/DVI) and analog (VGA) video interfaces. It features up to 1.5GHz CPU, 1GB of DDR2 SDRAM, shock-mounted 60GB HDD with active drop detection, and compatibility with standard PC-based applications. The OQO model 02 is available now for $1,500-$1,850.
Pick up two or three of these babies (with Bluetooth headsets) for the price of one Project 25 radio (with 9Kbps connectivity).
Keep the change.
