Dave Troy does it again says Scoble. First he came up with TwitterVision. Now he has FlickrVision. You post a photo to Flickr, and geoencode it (Flickr lets you add images to maps) and then it’ll show up on FlickrVision.

In other news, The Pileus umbrella (above), features GPS, a digital compass and Google Earth to help you navigate. It allows you to take pictures with a built-in camera which can be uploaded to Flickr via a wireless internet connection.

Within two minutes you can watch downloaded photo-streams on your umbrella screen with a simple wrist-snapping movement.

DailyWireless has more Wireless Umbrella Applications and Location Services including; Mapping Highway Data, Land Warrior Retires, HumaniNet’s Maps 2.0, 3-D Traffic/Weather Maps, Mapping Goes Live, Geotagging Photos – Cheap, Mapping Wireless Nodes, WiFi Tracking Tags from AeroScout, PanGo & Ekahau, Geocoding Content & Telemetry, and GPS Tracking: In a Shoe, On a Bike.
