Qwest Communications has started offering 1x EV-DO Revision A using Sprint Nextel’s network.

The Qwest Wireless Mobile Broadband card from UT Starcom is priced at $50 with a two-year service agreement, $100 with a one-year agreement or $210 without a contract. The company offers three service plans for the offering, including an $80 “unlimited” option—which according to Qwest’s terms and conditions is capped at 5 gigabytes of data transmission per month.

Subscribers to Qwest’s DSL Internet service are eligible for a $20 monthly discount on the wireless data plans, and high-speed Internet customers who have a two- or three-year contract are also eligible for an additional $50 rebate on the mobile broadband card.
