PePLink today announced the launch of a new model, PePLink Balance 380, as well as the release of a major firmware version for the Balance multi-WAN router products.
PePLink says their Balance 380 is capable of data throughput up to 175 Mbps in a 1U rack-mount and priced to fit mid-sized enterprise environments. The PePLink Balance series helps protect business through multiple independent links and provides automatic failover, along with increased performance and reliability.
βThe PePLink Balance Series caters to a diverse range of business environments β ranging from Home Offices up to Large Enterprises β and consists of the models Balance 30, 200, 300, the new 380, and 700,β explained Keith Chau, Director of Product Management at PePLink.
The PePLink Balance 380 (right), is immediately available from PePLink and its channel partners worldwide.
The latest version 4.0 of firmware is shipped with the new Balance 380, as well as all other PePLink Balance models. It includes numerous functional and interface enhancements, further solidifying network resiliency and easing network maintenance. Among the enhancements are SMTP forwarding, advanced inbound and outbound traffic management, connection backup groups, and a streamlined administration interface.
