Adobe’s On AIR Bus Tracker is the Mashup of the Day. Adobe’s Bus is on a cross country tour (blog, schedule and videos).
They’re promoting Adobe Integrated Runtime (AIR), previously referred to by its code-name of “Apollo”. It’s a cross-operating system tool that allows web developers to leverage their existing web development skills (such as Flash, Flex, HTML and JavaScript) to build and deploy web applications and content to the desktop.
Currently in public beta, it has a rich set of features, with support for building both HTML, and Flash based applications.
Inside the bus (Scoble Video), 8-10 people will be working live, while AIR GPS tracking and photo apps continuously send geoencoded photos. You can view them on the bus tour’s Flickr webcam account. They just finished up the first leg of the tour but will be on the road again in mid-August.
You can also download all code and applications both used and created on the tour from the Bus Tour’s Google Code Repository.
