Devicescape Software announced today that its free auto-connect software for Wi-Fi networks is now available for Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch.
Devicescape allows seamless connection to Wi-Fi networks and public hotspots at café’s, university networks, muni networks, and many more.
Devicescape eliminates the need to launch a browser to enter user names and passwords on your iPhone or iPod Touch. Your user name and password are entered just once and stored on a secure server and, after that, Devicescape enables you to automatically connect to any supported network within range.
Supported devices include Mac and PC laptops, Nokia phones and web tablets and PDAs. It works at hundreds of thousands of hotspots worldwide, supporting more than 400 public networks including the largest carriers in the world such as T-Mobile and AT&T, municipal and free networks.
The Boingo software, available this month for the Nokia tablet, connects to Boingo’s worldwide network for $7.95 per month, including both Wi-Fi voice calls and data.
