Firetide says their mesh network is being used at the construction site of the tallest free-standing structure in the world, the Burj Dubai (Dubai Tower), in United Arab Emirates. FCC: $400M for Telehealth Nets

The FCC has allocated $417 million to help build 69 statewide or regional broadband telehealth networks across 42 states, reports eWeek. The program is expected to reduce human error and allow patients to receive care remotely. The agency allocated funding on Nov. 19.
