Today, BelAir Networks announced the deployment of a wireless mesh broadband network in a Sheraton Resort in Orlando, Florida.
BelAir worked with Sprint to install the network, with Sprint providing the management and maintenance for Sheraton Vistana. Sprint is the preferred provider of voice and data services for the Sheraton Vistana, enabling communications between employees and delivering quality services for resort guests.
The resort has deployed 85 BelAir 100C access nodes (pdf) across the resort covering more than 1,400 villas, numerous pools and restaurants, tennis courts and several fitness centers developed by Starwood Vacation Ownership, a division of a division of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.
The modular BelAir100C features a rugged outdoor enclosure, a 100 Mbps Ethernet electrical interface, one access antenna and one backhaul antenna.
