Fujitsu Microelectronics will show its Wave2 compliant Mobile WiMAX chip, at the 2008 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month.
Fujitsu’s mobile WiMAX SoC (MB86K21) will be demoed with wireless video streaming. The IEEE 802.16e-2005 chip incorporates highly integrated, scalable1024 FFT OFDMA PHY and full MAC processors; adaptive modulation schemes including 64QAM, 16QAM and QPSK; and an interface for MIMO RF modules, in a small-footprint FBGA package.
Fujitsu Microelectronics Europe is a major supplier of semiconductor products and provides advanced systems solutions to the automotive, digital TV, mobile telephony, networking and industrial markets.
