Hey bucky…did your Blackberry let you down just when you were about to close that Big Deal? Is your Bluetooth heads-up display not communicatin’ with your Smart Phone? Are you trying to slip mobile WiMAX in your pocket, but wind up wearing only bathrobes?
Engadget has pictures of the HP Compaq 2133 “lifestyle accessory”.
It features a big, scratch resistant 8.9-inch 1366 x 766 (WXGA) display, ExpressCard/54 slot, Wireless LAN, nearly full-sized QWERTY, integrated webcam, and optional SSD in a 2.5-pound anodized aluminum frame running Vista or Linux.
UMPC News says it is definitely a VIA-based device. Entry-level at $499 with Linux and a decent hard drive. Mid level with Windows Vista for families at $650. Digitimes says it’s an Intel based device.
Is this just fantasy or is it reality?
