How’s the FCC’s 700 MHz Auction doing? Not done yet.
Bidding resumes on Monday, March 10. Back on Eastern Daylight Saving Time. The current 10-round bidding schedule will be followed until further notice.
The auction finished the week at $19.587 Billion, although reaching $20B might be a stretch. Will it wrap up next week? Seems likely. But that’s what we said this week.
Students from four top business schools–University of Chicago, Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, Harvard Business School, and MIT’s Sloan School of Management–took on identities of Google, Intel, AT&T Mobility and Vulcan Capital. The students then predicted the strategies of the companies post auction.
RCR Wireless News has the story so far. The FCC won’t reveal winners until it decides what it will do with the D-block.
