Ubiquiti Networks has announced a new line of products including some innovative and inexpensive client/ap devices. The new product lineup is lead by a WiFi client device known as The Bullet (right).

  • Bullet – Extremely small form factor CPE that looks more like an in-line attenuator than a WiFi client. The external N-Male antenna connector screws into your antenna without cables. The weather-proof radio is available in a variety of models covering the 2.4GHz and 5GHz unlicensed bands. It features 100mw output and 18V POE.
  • NanoStation2/5 “LOCO” – This dual-polarity (auto-switching/diversity) 8db antenna has 100mw output and POE (18V). The 5ghz version comes with 13dbi integrated antenna. The NS2/NS5 “LOCO” does not have external antenna connector like the standard NS2/NS5
  • PicoStation2 – A small form factor CPE with an external SMA antenna connector 100mw output. Similar to the Meraki.
  • RouterStation – And embeded wireless router with 680Mhz MIPS CPU, USB 2.0, and 3 Mini-PCI slots.
  • AP-1000 – Indoor high-power AP with External RP-SMA antenna connectors, Open Platform (can runs “AirOS”, OpenWRT, or other OS with the provided Linux SDK)

They are not yet shipping, but may be available in about 6-8 weeks at the earliest.
