T-Mobile USA is offering a $50-per-month unlimited voice plan to its veteran customers nationwide (web site). As a part of the deal, customers can add additional lines under the same unlimited offering for an even cheaper rate of $40 per month per line, says RCR Wireless.
In combination with the $35 unlimited data/text package, it will provide a $75 per month unlimited offering. That would undercut Sprint’s $99 Simply Everything plan. It is significantly lower than customers who signed up for T-Mobile USA’s normal unlimited voice and text offer, which also runs $100 per month.
The new pricing nearly matches Sprint Nextel’s $50 Boost deal which offers an unlimited everything plan for $50 per month. Other regional carriers include MetroPCS and Leap Wireless, which both have unlimited voice plans around $50/month using their pre-paid, no-contract service.
T-Mobile also offers a $135 credit to customers that bring a new customer from a different carrier onto their family plan.
Of course unlimited data service is not unlimited data service, reiterates Broadband Reports. Data usage over 5-10 GB per month can result in bills in the thousands of dollars.
