NetMotion Wireless, today announced their mobile Virtual Private Network (VPN), now has a beta application of Mobility XE supporting Windows 7.
NetMotion’s flagship product, Mobility XE, is a mobile VPN solution that provides secure, remote access to a mobile workforce. Unlike traditional IPSec and SSL VPNs that do not perform well in mobile and wireless environments, Mobility XE was built from the ground up to address the unique challenges associated with mobility. It maintains secure connections to applications as workers move through wireless coverage gaps and across various networks.
NetMotion says their application enables more than 400,000 mobile workers around the globe to stay connected in utilities, healthcare, field service, communications, public safety, government, transportation, insurance, and many other industries.
