Clearwire’s WiMAX service was interrupted in the Portland area, beginning Thursday night, reports the Oregonian’s Mike Rogoway (which I can confirm). According to the Oregonian, its network was offline throughout the Portland area, but service was also out in Salem, Boise and Las Vegas. By 5:30 p.m., on Friday, Clearwire said it had restored service in all markets.
I didn’t really notice the service interruption in Portland since I was away from the computer Friday afternoon, but I noticed it Friday morning, and eventually gave up trying to post anything.
