Dell’s upcoming tablet, the Mini 5, has gained approval by the FCC. The Snapdragon-powered portable has already been confirmed for AT&T, but is also expected to be available on T-Mobile.
The latest FCC application lists a second version of the Mini 5, using WCDMA Band IV, the frequency T-Mobile uses for their 3G service. Dell’s Mini tablet is reported to have a 5-inch screen (800×480), a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 3G connectivity, Android 2.1, and can run Flash.

It will launch with an Amazon content partnership, says Engadget, which will bring a Kindle e-book reader app, Amazon MP3, Amazon video streams and other material that Amazon sells.
The 5-in. Mini (now known as Streak 5) will reportedly launch in June with Dell’s Aero smart phone on the AT&T network. The 7-in. Streak 7 will arrive late this year and the 10-in. Streak 10 will arrive in “early 2011. No pricing has been announced.
