Kmart is selling an Android tablet for $149.99, reports Liliputing

The Augen GenTouch 7 inch tablet features an 800 x 480 pixel display, an 800MHz CPU, 256MB of RAM, 2GB of storage and WiFi, as well as an SD card slot and runs Google Android 2.1.

In addition to the 7-inch tablet, Augen has also released an $89 TheBook e-reader with a similar 7-inch LCD. It doesn’t run Android, but you can check out an in-depth look at its Linux OS in The eReader’s video review (below).

Out of the box, the Augen tablet probably won’t be able to access the Google Android Market, but you should be able to copy installer files to the tablet using a USB cable to install third party apps, says Liliputing. Meanwhile, Engadget reports that according to an Augen spokesperson, it will have access to the Android “Market App Store.”
