Samsung Tablets at Verizon and Sprint

The Wi-Fi Alliance today announced it has begun certifying Wi-Fi Direct products, a technology similar to Bluetooth, for device-to-device connections. FCC Calls for Broadcast TV Auctions

The FCC’s Chairman Julius Genachowski wants Congress to give the agency the authority to conduct incentive auctions, enabling current broadcast spectrum licensees to receive compensation for voluntarily relinquishing their spectrum for FCC auction. The Hewlett-Packard Windows 7 slate (specs), originally promised at the Consumer Electronics Show in January, will be formally introduced on Monday, says C/Net.
