The Asus VivoTab RT is a 10.1 inch tablet with a 1366 x 768 pixel display, an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor, and Windows RT operating system. Asus is selling a WiFi-only version, complete with a keyboard dock for $599. But soon you’ll also be able to pick up 3G or 4G models, notes Lilliputing.
There are now two new models of the tablet with cellular modems: The VivoTab RT LTE and the VivoTab RT 3G. AT&T has already announced that it will carry a 4G LTE version of the VivoTab RT. The 3G model supports HSPA+ networks, while the LTE model works with 4G LTE mobile broadband.
Specs include 2G RAM with 32GB/64GB SSD, a micro HDMI and a Micro SD Card Reader (SDXC), a USB 2.0 port, a 2 MP Front Camera and 8 MP Rear Camera. The models with cellular data ship with keyboard docking stations which add extra ports and extra battery life (for a total of up to 16 hours of run time). No word on how much the 3G or 4G tablets will cost.
