Platform Wars: Everyone in the Pool!

Google’s new $399 Nexus 10 has record-setting 2,560 x 1,600 resolution. But how do the other specs compare? Engadget has a cheat sheet.

You’d think 10″ tablets could include a full size SD card slot, wouldn’t you. Microsoft’s Surface tablet ($499) has lots of unique features, not the least of which is support for peripherals and Microsoft Office, as do its RT competitors.

For the first time, Windows Phone 8, Android 4.2 and Apple IOS-6 can finally compete head-to-head. The big three software platforms can now deliver real muscle and experience to both smartphones and tablets.
