In a recent T-Mobile commercial, one black-hatted outlaw breaks with the rest of his gang, notes the New Yorker. “Aw,” he says, “I can’t do this anymore.” T-Mobile recently abandoned termination fees, sneaky overage charges, and other unfriendly practices.
Most Americans are trapped in two year contracts with Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint. It’s amazing that mobile carriers can get away with charging you a monthly fee for an overpriced smartphone, long after the device is paid for. It’s criminal. Plain and simple.
