D-Link: $99 Mobile 11ac Hotspot with USB Charging

D-Link today announced a $99 portable 11AC router, the Wi-Fi AC750 Portable Router and Charger(DIR-510L), that allows mobile users to create a Wi-Fi hotspot from a 3G/4G, Wi-Fi or Ethernet connections, while on-the-go, as well as charge mobile devices.

The Portable Wi-Fi Router features a high-capacity 4,000mAh rechargeable battery that can charge mobile devices.

With the free mydlink SharePort mobile app, users can also upload, download and stream multimedia and documents to a storage drive attached to one of the Portable Router’s two USB ports from anywhere in the world.

The DIR-510L can deliver a total of 750Mbps using the combined throughput of its 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. Each band can operate as a separate Wi-Fi network, providing the ability to customize a network or configure a guest zone.
