Motorola Tests 700 MHz LTE

Motorola today announced it has completed the industry’s first over-the-air Long-Term Evolution (LTE) data sessions in the 700MHz spectrum using its LTE platform with a prototype LTE device. Motorola says it will bring its LTE solutions to market in 2009.

AT&T’s new website says FREE AT&T Wi-Fi access is now available for Apple iPhone at thousands of hotspots nationwide, including Starbucks. More than 17,000 locations, including most Starbucks are now available to the Wi-Fi equipped iPhone.
